Galloway Physical Therapy is a fee-for-service clinic designed with one major focus: patient centered care. Cash-based or Fee-for-service physical therapy clinics have chosen to not contract with insurance companies and instead work directly with the consumer. It means we refuse to compromise your quality of care and our ability to deliver it. Therapy sessions are directed by the unique needs of each client and are not dictated by billing codes and reimbursement rates.
High deductables and higher co-pays have forced the consumer to become their own advocate in assessing the bed value in their medical care. The fee for service model is designed for one-on-one care with no overlapping therapy appointments with other clients. The individualized attention you receive lends itself to a quicker recovery with less total time and financial commitment. In fact, research indicates early treatment and paying cash for physical therapy reduces healthcare costs. When comparing cash pay to insurance-based physical therapy, a study examining patient records found that paying cash:
Decreased the total number of visits
Required less true cost per visit
Decreased the overall length and cost of the entire treatment plan
“Patients who pay upfront in cash often get better deals than their insurance plans have negotiated for them” (WSJ).

Is it possible for my insurance company to reimburse me?
Yes! It is possible for insurance companies to reimburse patients depending on the individual provider and plan. There is no guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse your for the services, however Galloway Physical Therapy can provide you with the paperowrk necessary to submit your claim. It is the patient's responsibility to provide payment in full, up front, at the time of services rendered.
Galloway Physical Therapy, LLC is an Out of Network provider with all insurance companies and payment is due at time of service.
Most insurance companies, with the exception of Medicare, Medicaid and some HMOs, will provide payment for services received "out-of-network". Going out-of-network means that you can choose to see a physical therapist who is not a participating provider with your insurance company. Many patients choose to receive services out-of-network in order to see the physical therapist of their choice. In the case of cash-based services, it is the patient who is waiting for reimbursement rather than the provider.
Disclaimer: Galloway Physical Therapy provides the required documentation, but is not responsible for reimbursement processing. Insurance companies reimburse patients according to their out-of-network benefits. Reimbursement benefits vary from company to company. Please make sure you understand the terms and conditions of the reimbursement eligibility and process through your insurance provider.
